A little more about Spain

Spain - what's not to love? The climate is beautiful, the scenery stunning, the people relaxed, the beaches long and sandy, the seas clear and blue, the food delicious and the culture fascinating. More than 50 million foreigners travel to Spain each year, yet venture inland from the beautiful sandy beaches and you can soon find yourself hearing nothing but Spanish.

Spain's diversity is great and this country offers something for everyone. Between the picture perfect beaches there is some spectacular stretches of rugged coastline, and the country boasts some amazing mountain scenery with its seemingly endless wild sierra.

When it comes to culture Spain shines on all fronts, from Islamic palaces, ancient buildings, Gothic cathedrals and medieval castles, there's much to explore. Its arts heritage is strong and Spain is home to some of the world's most famous artists, including Goya, Dali, Picasso and El Greco with amazing galleries and museums to explore.

Music is very much part of the picture from dramatic flamenco, to melancholic Celtic music, and when it comes to eating and drinking Spanish regional cuisine and wines are amongst the finest.

With attractions and activities to suit everyone, this year-round country attracts holidaymakers and travelers for all the right reasons.

Head for the Costas

Spain's Costa del Sol - the Sunshine Coast - lives up to its name with on average over 300 sunny days a year. The weather is just one reason why the region is so popular with holidaymakers and property investors.

From world-class tennis clubs, to championship golf courses, not to mention watersports and amazing scenery, the Costa del Sol is rich in its attractions and will always draw European visitors.

The Costa Blanca - white coast - boasts some of Spain's best sandy beaches and some of the most delicious regional cuisine in the country. Discover the gastronomic delights and get a flavour of its cultural heritage at fiestas such as Moros and Cristianos and the Fogueres de Sant Joan.

The Costa de la Luz - Coast of Light - on the Western Andalucian Coast faces the Atlantic, with stunning expansive white sandy beaches and fantastic watersports opportunities.

The Murcian coastline boasts the Costa Calida, with around 315 days of sunshine a year and very clement average temperature of 17 degrees. Here you can enjoy everything from watersports to hiking and hill climbing, making the most of the spectacular scenery.
